DARTMOUTH NIGHT this year has been set for Friday evening, November 5. Throughout the world—in Army Camps and Naval Stations—among alumni clubs and associations, and in Hanover, Dartmouth men will gather. Observance of Dartmouth Night in Hanover November 5 will come three days after the opening of the winter term. It is planned to bring together all Dartmouth men who are civilian or Navy students for talks by President Hopkins and others.

November 5 will mark the 48th annual observance of Dartmouth Night. On account of limitations on telegraphic service alumni groups need not send the customary messages that have in other years been read at the Hanover celebration. Early announcement of the date is made to permit groups of two or more Dartmouth men to plan an informal gathering November 5 in symbolic renewal of ties with the College.
