THE ELECTION of officers for 1943-1944 was held at a recent dinner party at Pier 21 by the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Houston. H. M. Lull '97 was elected president, and T. P. Maguire '30, secretary and treasurer. Dwight Edson '18, outgoing president, with the help of Gaylord Fauntleroy '18 outgoing secretary, has done a remarkable job in maintaining activity of the Club in view of so many members going into the Armed Forces and so many members engaged in War Work and War Activities, leaving them little time to.join in organized club affairs.

Therefore, it was decided by the members present to have informal evening dinners take the place of the bi-monthly noonday luncheons, for the duration. The plan calls for get-togethers at periodic intervals which will be arranged for the convenience of the greatest number.
