Winter Calendar

THE ACADEMIC BOARD has announced that the civilian College and the V-12 Unit will observe no holidays during the Winter Term other than the four-day recess over the Christmas weekend. Opening day of classes for the next semester, which had previously been designated as November 3, has been changed to November 5 in order to synchronize the Dartmouth schedule with that of other V-12 schools throughout the country.

Following is the complete calendar for the Winter Term:

November 1, New trainees report. November 3, Other trainees report. November 4, Civilian students and trainees reister. November 5, Classes begin. Decemstudents dismissed at end of last class for Christmas weekend. December 27, 0800, Classes begin. February 16 to 24, Winter Term examinations.
