Civilian Positions

The hampton roads port of Embarkation at Newport News, Virginia, is endeavoring to obtain civilian personnel to replace military men who will soon be needed for active duty elsewhere. Men applying must be over age or physically unacceptable by Selective Service, and persons with administrative experience in the business world are desired. In addition to clerical, stenographic, accounting, and statistical work, there are positions available which call for supervision in such fields as health, housing, employer-employee relations and many others.
