Class Officers Meet in Boston, New York
March 1943

FACING MORE ACUTE difficulties in transportation, the executive committees of three associations of Dartmouth class officers have decided to hold their annual meetings in New York and Boston this spring rather than make the customary pilgrimage to Hanover. The Dartmouth Class Agents Association, the Treasurers Association, and the Secretaries Association will meet in New York at the Dartmouth Club Saturday, April 3. The same groups, for the convenience of New England members, will meet in Boston at the University Club Saturday, April 10. Class agents in the Chicago area will meet Tuesday, March 23, night before the annual Chicago alumni banquet, at the University Club, March 24, when President Hopkins will be the principal speaker.

Much the same program will be followed at the meetings of class officers in both New York and Boston. There will be separate luncheon meetings of the three groups Saturday noon, followed by afternoon business sessions. A joint dinner of the three associations with President Hopkins addressing members will be held Saturday evening. Because the Alumni Fund campaign will be in progress it is expected that emphasis will be given on the program to the vital work of the class agents.

James B. Reynolds '90 of Washington, president of the Class Agents Association, will preside at the meetings of his group of key Dartmouth workers. Doane Arnold '27 of Boston, president of the Secretaries Association, will lead a discussion of Dartmouth Secretaries Association affairs, and Roscoe O. Elliott '20 of Boston will head the program of the Treasurers Association of which he is president. Henry E. Atwood '13, chairman of the Alumni Fund Committee, will be a featured speaker on the dinner program in addition to President Hopkins.
