* Mr. Wilkins reported reservations of Mr. Atwood on acceptance of a second term as Alumni Fund Chairman. Mr. Atwood requested that the Council wait until June 30 to see how the current campaign turns out and wait for selections of the new chairman until it can be determined whether his residence at a distance, Minneapolis, will be a handicap to the Fund in 1944. It was the Nominating Committee's recommendation, however, that Mr. Atwood be elected to head the Alumni Fund Committee and that he be urged to accept the assignment which he has so very ably directed this year. The Fund campaign is moving toward its objective most satisfactorily and Mr. Atwood does not permit Minneapolis to seem very far away. If a new appointment is necessary next fall, Mr. Atwood is assured that this will be discussed at the fall meeting of the Council.
