Will academic credit be given to Navy students for courses satisfactorily completed at Dartmouth?

Yes. It is expected that all colleges will recognize semester hours and points earned by Navy students, for credit toward postwar completion of degree requirements at Dartmouth or elsewhere.

Will trainees be regularly enrolled studentsat Dartmouth?

President Hopkins and the Board of Trustees have established a new associated school within the college organization. This will be known as: NAVAL TRAINING SCHOOL (V-12). Complete undergraduate and alumni records will be maintained for this school as in other associated schools at Dartmouth —Medical, Thayer and Tuck Schools. Men who wish to continue their college education in the post-war period can transfer academic credits earned in the V-12 school and matriculate as candidates for the A.B. degree with advance standing in Dartmouth College or any other college.
