What periods for physical training will berequired?

One hour and twenty minutes per day of which twenty minutes will be morning calisthenics and one hour is devoted to sports, preferably intramural team games and strenuous competition. Also thirty minutes of military drill per week.

Will Dartmouth provide personnel forphysical training program?

Navy and Marine staff will be assigned to handle calisthenics, drill, inspection, swimming instruction for non-swimmers, and to supplement Dartmouth's depleted coaching staff for general physical training.

Will Dartmouth administer intercollegiateathletics?

Yes, and will provide coaching, equipment, trips, etc. at College expense. Extent of intercollegiate competition is undetermined. Teams will be Dartmouth teams, not Navy, on which the Navy students are eligible to compete if their heavy academic schedule permits. V-12 freshmen will not be eligible in their first term for any activities, athletic or non-athletic, except by special permission of C.O.
