DONALD W. CAMERON '35, recently appointed Associate in Placement in the Personnel Bureau, took over his new duties on October 1. Mr. Cameron, who comes from Amsterdam, N. Y., will, among other duties, work under the Dartmouth Vocational Plan that provides employment counsel and aid to alumni returning from military service. As part of this work he will make a tour of all alumni vocational committees which have been organized throughout the country by the Dartmouth Alumni Council.
For two years following his graduation from Dartmouth, Mr. Cameron was with the R. H. Macy Cos. He went from there to the Mohawk Carpet Cos., Amsterdam, N. Y. where he became employment manager in charge of labor relations as well as of hiring personnel. He comes to the College with a wide background of experience in the personnel field as well as in merchandising and manufacturing.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Cameron was on the swimming team and a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He is married and has a two-year old son.
