The Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital celebrated its fiftieth anniversary, recently, by the publication of a history of its accomplishments, Fifty Years of Service, by Professor Leon Burr Richardson, one of its Trustees. It is not customary for the MAGAZINE to review official reports but this one is so much more than a factual statement of buildings added and services rendered that some mention seems appropriate. It is an absorbing story of growth in size, service, and outlook. Moreover, it is in Professor Richardson's best style, vigorous and lucid, with a touch of the dry humor for which he is famous.

Incidence and Effect of Aniseikonia on Aircraft Pilotage, by the Research Division, Dartmouth College Eye Institute, Hanover, New Hampshire, has been published as TechnicalDevelopment Report No. 30 of the Civil Aeronautics Administration, U. S. Department ofJustice. This is a pamphlet of 22 pages, printed at the Government Printing Office.

The Effect of Epinephrine Upon Frog RenalHemodynamics in the Intact Animal, by Professor Roy P. Forster. has been reprinted from the November issue of The American Journalof Physiology.

Professor Arthur M. Wilson is the author of The Humanistic Bases of Biographical Interpretation, which appears in the 1942 issue of the English Institute Annual.

Professor Chauncy N. Allen is the author of Screwball Advertising, which appears in the December 10 issue of Printers' Ink.
