A further 10 per cent cut in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE'S paper quota for 1944 has became effective with this issue, and our readers will probably notice the somewhat reduced size this month. Starting.with the March issue, the editors plan to reduce the classnotes type from 9 point to 8 point (the size now used for necrology) and to set all front matter in 9-point solid (used for this item) rather than 9-point leaded. These changes will permit the MAGAZINE to print approximately the same contents as in the past in 10 per cent less pages.
