THE DARTMOUTH CLUB OF GEORGIA started off the 1945-46 season with three events that were thoroughly enjoyed by most of the local alumni. In September we met for an informal meeting at the home of Charlie Chapman '33. A new slate of officers, submitted by the nominating committee and accepted by the club, elected Harris P. Dawson '35, president and William H. Marsh Jr. '31, secretary- treasurer.
In October a congenial group gathered at Bill Marsh's for a picnic supper and in November we had a splendid turnout for a Dartmouth Night celebration at the Biltmore Hotel. Dean Spratlin, Tuck '40, was the principle speaker.
Dr. Ben S. Reed '32 and James R. Atwill '36 have returned to Atlanta this month swelling our roster to 29 men here. Atwill, incidentally, became the proud papa of a bouncing baby boy this week.
A Christmas Party is planned for December 14, the details to be announced later. Any alumni in or near Atlanta are cordially invited to telephone the secretary at Hemlock 5285 for the time and place of our next get- together.
