Two Men Speak for Trainees Completing Course
As SPOKESMEN AT THE NAVY V-12 Convocation for the 178 apprentice seamen and 45 Marine Corps privates who completed their training at the close of the Winter Term, A/S Ernest W. Marshall Jr., USNR, of Laconia, N. H., and Pvt. Robert G. Marotz, USMCR, of Shawano, Wis., expressed the feelings of the men in their groups on leaving the Unit and Dartmouth. In the belief that the alumni would be interested in the reactions of these young men to Dartmouth and the Navy College Training Program in progress here, the MAGAZINE publishes herewith the speeches of Apprentice Seaman Marshall and Private Marotz who were chosen to speak for their fellow trainees.
