THREE MEMBERS OF the class of 1946 were elected to Phi Beta Kappa at a March meeting of the New Hampshire Alpha. The men, all of whom received their bachelor degrees magna cum laude at the commencement exercises on April 2, are A/S Douglas W. Frerichs, Phoenix, Ariz.; A/S Calvin H. Gurney, Marion, Mass.; and Howard C. Hewitt, Saranac Lake, N. Y.

Alpha chapter elected the following officers for the ensuing year: president, Prof. Charles L. Stone, Psychology Department; vice president, Prof. Joseph B. Folger, Spanish Department; secretary-treasurer, Harold B. Rugg, assistant librarian, Baker Library; executive committee, the president; the secretary; and Professors Foster E. Guyer, John P. Amsden, Hugh S. Morrison.
