PARTICULARLY TIMELY at this moment in the progress of the war and the plans for the future peaceful cooperation of the nations of the world is Richard E. Lauterbach's article "What's In It For Us?" which is the feature for this issue. The article, the final chapter in Mr. Lauterbach's book, These Are the Russians, to be published by Harper's in May, sums up the mutual benefits to be derived by the United States and the Soviet Union in maintaining friendly relations.
