CONCLUDING the series of "biographies" of the College's associated schools, the story of the growth of the Medical School from the one-man institution of 1797 to the present modern medical center is told in this month's issue by Dr. John F. Gile '16, Professor of Clinical Surgery at the School.
The sharply defined "profile" of S/Sgt. Walter Bernstein '40, overseas correspondent for Yank, the Army weekly, by Lynn Callaway '38 leads off a projected series of character sketches of Dartmouth men.
