ARTHUR M. COX '42 is engaged to Joy a Bovingdon who went to Bennington College and used to live in Chicago. Thomas Patrick Conway '41 is engaged to Lois May Hussey an alumna of Stevens College. Henry H. Hilton 'go has moved to Massachusetts. September changes on our mailing list show 38 Alumni moved to Chicago, 32 moved away and 41 moved around within Chicago; so apartments are to be had if you know where to look. Dick Pearson '20 of New York told me at lunch that Sherm Adams '20 lost the Republican nomination for Governor of New Hampshire by 1/3 of 1% of the vote. The Chicago Alumni Association is being paid for allowing a publisher to put out a directory of local Dartmouth men. We have planned a cocktail party for Dartmouth night; a cocktail party and light buffet prior to the Dartmouth-Michigan hockey game here during the Christmas holidays; and when the Alumni Council meets here there will be a dinner on January 24, 1947, at which President Dickey will speak; also a cocktail party on January 25. Alumni and their women are invited to all four of these events.
