Wilder Dam

THE LONG-STANDING proposal for reconstruction of the Wilder power development on the Connecticut River near Wilder, Vt., a few miles south of Hanover, was given approval last month by the Federal Power Commission.

Authorization for the redevelopment was granted to the Bellows Falls Hydro-Electric Corporation which has been operating the existing development at the Wilder Dam since April, 1934, wholesaling power to utilities in New Hampshire and Vermont.

AFTER 19 YEARS ON THE JOB, Miss Laura B. Gilmore, House Mother of Dick's House, College Infirmary, resigned this month. Miss Gilmore will take an extended rest due to poor health.
