THE TRADITION OF THE annual Luncheon for the undergraduates and applicants was revived during the Christmas vacation. The sign of the times was the fact that the applicants outnumbered the rest of the men in attendance.
An executive committee meeting was recently held, and Jim Bear '19 again sacrificed his house and facilities for the affair. The most important business was the passing of a resolution regretting the transfer of Howie Mullin '27 to St. Louis. As an officer of the club and one of its most active members, his departure means a distinct loss to the group.
Other returned servicemen not previously reported are Bill Blakeslee '35, Lanny Moore '37, and Bud Devlin '38. None of these have checked into the Club, but rumor has it that they're back.
Tentative plans are being made for a visit here by President John Dickey early in the spring. Further announcement will be made of this red-letter day.
