THE TUCK SCHOOL has been chosen by the Eastman Kodak Company as one of the four business schools in the country to be assigned a fellowship of $750 for graduate work in the field of business administration, it was recently announced by Dean Herluf V. Olsen '22.

The fellowship will be awarded to one of the forty-odd students enrolling at Tuck for regular second-year work in the term that begins March 11, the candidate receiving his M.C.S. degree, on an accelerated basis, by the end of September if his work is completed satisfactorily.

The Eastman Kodak Company has set up, in all, twelve pre-doctoral .fellowships in the fields of chemistry and physics; four master's degree fellowships in mechanical engineering; two in electrical engineering, and four in business administration.

In his announcement, Dean Olsen explained that the purpose of this fellowship is to give stimulus to the study of fundamentals and principles underlying, accounting, statistics, merchandising, or industrial relations. There are no strings attached to it by the Eastman Kodak Company, the requirements being simply that the man has demonstrated ability in his major field, soundness of character, the faculty's confidence, and the need of financial assistance.
