THE ANNUAL MIDYEAR meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Council will be held in Chicago, January 24-25. Edwin R. Keeler '11 of Chicago, president of the Council, announces a first session for lunch Friday, January 24, following meetings of committees that morning. The Council will hear reports of committees in the afternoon and will continue its program Saturday morning with an informal discussion of College problems and policies by President Dickey. Windsor C. Batchelder '19 will report for his special committee studying fund-raising activities among alumni and will recommend steps to avoid conflicts and duplication in campaigns for all Dartmouth projects.

The Dartmouth Alumni Association of Chicago will hold a reception in honor of the Council Friday afternoon, January 24, and President Dickey will be the principal speaker at the annual banquet of the Association that evening. Wives of alumni are invited to attend both events which will be held at the University Club. Meetings of the Alumni Council will also be centered in the University Club headquarters. The Council has not met in Chicago since the Dartmouth Pow-Wow of 1928.
