tentative freshman and sophomore debating teams are composed as follows: 1926 — J. P. St. Clair, leader; A. J. Hammond, Jr., L. S. Hart well and M. B. Storer, alternate; 1927- G. E. Morcroft, leader; J. L. Afros, G. W. Friede and T. G. Kennedy, alternate.

Junior and senior tryouts also have been held to determine the membership in the debating clubs. A new club, to be called the Lincoln Club, was formed and men elected. Follow- ing is the list of club members which was decided upon after all the tryouts:

Webster Club — S. G. Litchfield '25, E. G. Linke '25, J. P. St. Clair '26, T. G. Kennedy '27, and R. Choate '27.

Choate Club — A. E. Hadlock '24, E. O. Lamb '24, H. P. Trefethen '26, G. E. Morcroft '27, and J. B. Lowell '27.

Lincoln Club — C. A. Knudson '24, L. S. Hartwell '26, A. J. Hammond, Jr. '26, J. L. Afros '27, G. P. Corliss '27, and W. C. Cusack '27.
