I was disappointed not to find any '95 Notes in the April issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. I had sent notes to be published as usual; but they were received too late to be included in that issue. The editors had established a dead line (the tenth of each month) for receiving class Notes for issue in the current month, and I sent the notes head on over the line. It was my fault. The editors have their troubles, so the dead line is justified.
The May issue will soon be out and you-all ("yawl," as they say down South) will have notes to read.
After we arrived in Winter Park, I learned that our classmate, Harlan Cochran, had undergone a throat operation in a hospital at Boston, and that he and Mrs. Cochran were at the Manger Hotel in Boston for an indefinite period, while Harlan was having X-Ray treatments. Whether they are still there, or back at their home in Derry, N. H., I do not know. I'm sure letters from classmates, sent to Derry, would be greatly appreciated.
Mrs. Stevens and I have recently returned from Winter Park. We wish we were back there right now.
