COMMENCEMENT WEEKEND WILL OPEN Friday afternoon, June 11, with the traditional Class Day exercises on the campus, according to the schedule released last month by Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the College. A reception for seniors and their families will be given Friday evening by President and Mrs. Dickey.
Saturday's program includes a luncheon given by the College for seniors, their fathers and alumni of classes holding reunions on that weekend, the Players' show and a Glee Club Concert.
The combined Commencement and Baccalaureate exercises will be held Sunday morning, June 13, in the Bema. In case of rain the program will be postponed until 5 Sunday afternoon in the Bema, weather permitting, or, if necessary, in Webster Hall.
Classes holding reunions Commence- ment weekend, June 12-13, are 1888, 1893, 1898 and 1923. Those meeting in Hanover the following weekend, June 19-20, are 1908, 1913, 1918, 1919, 1933, 1938, 1943 and 1944-
Hanover Holiday 1948, which will offer alumni a reasonable facsimile of the "Great Issues" course, will be held June 14 to 17. Speakers and their topics are: Thomas W. Braden '40, "The Meaning of Modern Liberalism"; Prof. William W. Ballard '28,
