Losing a coat in a restaurant is usually annoying, but for Willsie E. Brisbin '29, Secretary of Civil and Military Affairs for the State of Vermont, it was recently a rather pleasant event.

Arising from lunch at a Montpelier coffee shop, he noticed that his coat was missing from the rack. But in its place was a natty Scotch tweed, which he appropriated while leaving it up to the management to straighten out the exchange.

It wasn't long before he discovered that he was wearing a coat with good Dartmouth associations—the property of President-Emeritus Ernest Martin Hopkins. It is reported that he awaited somewhat sorrowfully the arrival of his "old coat" from Hanover.
