It has become a custom at Carnival time for the fraternities to vie in erecting sculptures of snow in front of their chapter houses. This year a board of judges awarded prizes and honorable mention to those groups with the most effective displays.
Sigma Nu won with a Carnival Girl done by D. A. McCornack '29. The Lambda Chi Alpha modernistic Guitar Player built by W. E. Wright '30 was awarded second place, but in the opinion of this writer surpassed all others. Chi Phi got third with an Eleazar Wheelock-Indian weather vane reproduction and Pi Lambda Phi, Phi Kappa Sigma and Phi Kappa Psi received honorable mention.
