Still it stands—the Fence On which, as Seniors, we were Privileged once to sit.

The Campus 'cross whose Trampled green With nonchalance we strolled Has 'minished not one whit.

The same familiar sounds Of friendly call or college traffic Echo in the air.

To quit it, after forty years Of trekking back and forth At intervals- Still is unwelcome thought.

Necessity for which I do not care.
