THE DARTMOUTH CLUB of Louisiana held a meeting at Arnaud's, one of the famous New Orleans French restaurants, on March 16, for the purpose of electing officers for the coming year. The meeting was attended by eight men who live in New Orleans and by one who came from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and another who came from Shreveport, Louisiana.

The results of the election are as follows: Arthur S. Graham '24, President; Donald D. Cole '30, Vice-President; Brunswick G. Deutsch '35, Secretary; and H. Eustis Reily '42, Treasurer.

It was with some reluctance that Bob Elsasser '21 relinquished the reins as President, an office which he held since the group was formed in 1940. However, the press of business was such that he had no alternative but to be relieved of the responsibility of that office.

Those who managed to attend the meeting were: Albert C. Heath '25, H. Eustis Reily '42, Briggs M. Austin '37 (Bay St. Louis, Miss.), Melvin F. Johnson Jr. '46, Victor H. Luneborg '35 (Shreveport, La.), Dr. Alan Leslie '3O, Robert A. White '40, Robert W. Elsasser '21, Arthur S. Graham '24, Brunswick G. Deutsch '55.

At writing, plans are completed for a dinner meeting on April 5, at which the guest of honor will be Sid Hayward. A large turnout is expected. In view of the fact that so many Dartmouth men are now accompanied by their wives wherever they go, in or about the Hanover hills, it was decided that the ladies should be included at this dinner meeting so that they may learn more about the College.
