Monday noon Luncheon at the Schwaben-Hof, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Our annual meeting was somewhat delayed, but we planned it for June 8, at the Medford Hotel in Milwaukee. At the last evening meeting which featured Hanover Holiday in Milwaukee we jumped a point of order with everyone's permission (and relief) in order that we might go on with the show.
Now this paragraph skips a couple of days and is written the morning after our meeting. The writer arrived there too late for the cocktail preliminaries, so any ensuing confusion can only be laid to natural causes. The election returned Brad Brown '2B, as president; Skip French '3B, vice president; BobBosworth '37, treasurer; Vaughn G. Berry, secretary, and Don Gates '42, assistant secretary and treasurer.
Frank Frey '3B, our Alumni Council member, took notes during part of the meeting in an attempt to crystallize the group's reaction toward the college's admission policy.
Nineteen members attended the dinner, which was roast beef. We decided to have two picnics this summer, one which will include the wives and/or sweethearts, and the other more specifically for the undergraduates when they are about to return to college.
