The program for the Tenth Annual Hanover Holiday, June 13-16, was completed last month with the announcement that Dr. Paul A. Harper '26, Associate Professor of Public Health Administration, School of Hygiene and Public Health, Johns Hopkins University, will give the lecture on public health. Built around the general theme of "The Dartmouth Alumnus and His Community," the series will open Monday, June 13, with a discussion of public education by Prof. Arthur O. Davidson of Dartmouth's education department and a talk by Dr. Harper on the community public health problem. Other lecturers and their topics are: Tuesday, June 14, Prof. Artemas Packard of the Art Department, "he Arts," and Prof. Dayton D. McKean of the Government Department, "Local Government"; Wednesday, June 15, Prof. George F. Theriault '33 of the Sociology Department, "Minority Conflicts," and the Rt. Rev. John T. Dallas, retired Bishop of the New Hampshire Protestant Episcopal Church, "Religion and the Church"; and Thursday, June 16, Prof. Chauncey N. Allen '24 of the Psychology Department, "The Problems of Adoles- cence," and John L. Sullivan 'si, Secretary of the Navy, "The Citizen and the Com- munity."
Scheduled between Commencement weekend and the following weekend of class reunions, Hanover Holiday will allow some Dartmouth men to stay over for the Alumni College and others to come back early, ahead of reunions, to take in the faculty lectures and the recreational program built around them.
