The Dartmouth Club of the Province of Quebec held its annual or nearly so, meeting Friday evening, March 18, at the Queen's Hotel, Montreal. Our guest of the evening was Eddie Chamberlain '36, Dartmouth's Assistant Director of Athletics, and although he wasn't received by large numbers, all of us were completely absorbed by his detailed analysis and description of student and faculty problems.

Rex Stollmeyer '29 performed an outstanding service by decorating the center of the table with a keg of Eleazar's "curriculum," which proved to be a great inspiration to both speakers and listeners. Dan Hatch '06 gave us a further sampling of his valuable collection of material on Dartmouth in Canada. His description of the early invasion of Dartmouth by Indians on the warpath for an education was so realistic that some of us think Dan might have gone after his in a similar manner. Dan and Cut Tirrell '00 told us of things that happened way back when quarterbacks wore handles, and after a few of those anecdotes we of a later vintage were completely silenced.

It should be stated that the rather disappointing turnout of Montrealers was nearly forgotten when three of our good friends from Malone turned up in the persons of Dan Duffin '25, Mac McClary '34 and Claude Clark '37. We were also pleased to have C. C. Hills '05 with us from Norwich, Vermont. Others present were Dave Camp '22, Larry Kugelman '24, Link Washburn '36, Charley Ronalds '45, and Bill Dodge '29.
