CONTINUING THE CUSTOM of recent years, the ALUMNI MAGAZINE devotes this abbreviated July issue to a review of Commencement and Reunion events of last month.

A general story on The 180 th Commencement begins on Page 9. Supplementing it are the full texts of the four addresses delivered at the final exercises in the Bema—President Dickey's Valedictory to the graduating class (Page 12), Raymond J. Rasenberger's Valedictory on behalf of the graduates (Page 13), the Baccalaureate Address by Dr. Everett M. Baker '24 (Page 13), and the remarks by Senator Arthur H. Vandenberg, who received an honorary LL.D. degree (Page 11).

The traditional Fifty-Year Address, given by Joseph W. Gannon '99 at the alumni luncheon Commencement weekend, is also printed in full (Page 17). A similar address was delivered the following reunion weekend by Edward K. Robinson '04, in behalf of the Classes of 1903, 1904 and 1905. The greater part of it is printed in this issue, beginning on Page 20.

The Cover Happily examining the proof of his graduation from Dartmouth, but probably baffled by the Latin like thousands of graduates before him, is Conrad R. Pensavalle '49 of Everett, Mass., well known to Big Green football followers. Sharing in his pleasure and adding to the beauty of the cover picture is Miss Betty Taylor. The official class photographs accompanying the reunion reports were taken by David Pierce of Hanover.
