Hartford, Fund Workers

Dartmouth alumni played a prominent role in the 1951 American Red Cross Fund Campaign in and about Hartford, Conn., both in their number and in the key positions which they held in the drive.

Francis T. Fenn Jr. '37, general chairman for the campaign, had as his assistant chairmen Bruce W. Manternach '37 and Philip J. Merritt '38. Kevin B. Kenny '43 served as chairman of the Hartford residential division, while Charles B. Rice '23 was chairman of the division responsible for the 19 towns and branches surrounding Hartford. Assisting him as vice chairman was Weston H. Brockway '31.
