We have just learned of the passing of Thomas J. Griffin on December 24, 1950, and of the passing of Albert J. Wheeldon on February 11, 1951. Tom Griffin was born May 29, 1885, in Holyoke, Mass. He had been a teacher of chemistry in the Evander Childs High School in New York. He and his wife had lived at 306 E. Mosholu Parkway So., New York. Tom had retired in September, 1948. He is survived by his widow Julia M. Griffin.

Albert Wheeldon passed away in St. Augustine. He had been a semi-invalid for a long time and had retired. He lived at 5 Cedar Ave., Roselle, Wilmington, Del. He was married in August, 1912, to Emily Bernal Kendall at Sidney, N. S. Two daughters, Emily and Edith, were born to them.

We hope to have further information about each of these men for next month. The sympathy of everyone in the class goes to the members of their families.

Art Lewis, Jack Everett, Percy Gleason and Pete McCarthy attended the Dartmouth dinner at the Copley-Plaza in Boston on March 7. They teamed up at a table with some young men from 1904 and 1906.

Jimmy Norton drove from California to Massachusetts with his daughter. Between trains in Chicago on his way back he called up Park Stickney and Park says they talked until Jimmy's train was about ready to pull out.

Earl Wiley, a member of the faculty of Ohio State University, reports with pride that he became a grandfather for the fourth time last December with the arrival of another grandson.

The Bert Thorpes went to California the middle of March to be there about six weeks.

Hobe, who is living the life of a retired third baseman and bachelor in his old stamping ground, Nashua, saw Arthur Rotch several times in the hospital there when Arthur was giving the doctors some work. Hobe reports that Arthur seemed to be doing as well as could be expected.
