Fourteen Dartmouth alumni, all except two with their wives, assembled to honor President and Mrs. Dickey at the annual Province of Quebec Dartmouth Alumni Association dinner. This was the first time in many years that a Dartmouth president has addressed an alumni group in Canada. His enlightening remarks concerning the purpose of the College and its many problems were graciously delivered and warmly received; reference was made to the close association that should exist between Canada and Dartmouth, a College unusually devoted to a study of the North.

Cut Tirrell '00 introduced President Dickey and told numerous anecdotes connected with Dartmouth presidents and other College personalities of the last half century. Dan Hatch 06 entertained the group with a humorous and instructive talk on Dartmouth in Canada. The Greenbound keg, contents donated by Rex Stollmeyer '29, was a popular feature of the occasion.
