THIS month's half-size issue is devoted almost completely to a review of the Commencement and reunion weekends held in Hanover last month. Following an account of The 1952 Commencement (Page 11) will be found the complete texts of President Dickey's Valedictory to the graduating class (Page 14); the Baccalaureate Address delivered by Sir Oliver S. Franks, British Ambassador to the United States and now an alumnus of the College by virtue of his honorary LL.D. (Page 15) the Class of 1952 Valedictory by F. Lee Coulter '52 (Page 17); and the Fifty-Year Address by Professor Emeritus E. Bradlee Watson '02. The citations read by President Dickey as he conferred nine honorary degrees are also printed in full (Page 18).

The Reunion Weekend, June 13-15, is briefly described in an article by Alice Pollard, beginning on Page 24. Individual reports on the class reunions held both weekends replace the regular class notes in this issue. These are accompanied by the official class reunion pictures taken by the David Pierce Studio of Hanover.

News stories this month include those of the election of a new Alumni Trustee, the creation of two new Vice Presidents of the College, the meetings and elections of the Alumni Council and General Alumni Association, the 1927 Class Gift, and the creation of new Financial Aid and Placement Offices. Regular departments include Books (Page 5), With Big Green Teams (Page 27) and InMemoriam (Page 44).
