This account of the Glee Club's spring tour, written by a member of the Club, modestly passes over the tremendous hit that the Dartmouth singers and their director, Paul Zeller, made everywhere they went. The story is rounded out by the enthusiastic reports that went winging off to Hanover in the wake of the Glee Club's visits. Typical of the many comments by alumni are these:

CHATTANOOGA - "All sorts of wonderful comments are still streaming in to us from all quarters, not only with regard to the singing of the Glee Club but also to the fine personable group they are and to the impeccable deportment of each of them as individuals."

LITTLE ROCK - "The Dartmouth concert Wednesday night was very successful, and the boys really did themselves and the College proud.... I believe that the southern tour of the Glee Club will pay dividends by interesting boys in going to college in Hanover."

TULSA — "I am still aglow over the wonderful experience the Glee Club brought us in Tulsa.... They were a grand bunch of young men, whom all of us enjoyed very much, and it made us proud to see what fine quality men Dartmouth is attracting. They make wonderful ambassadors.... Paul Zeller is tops. How he does all he does to carry on such a tour and still keep calm and cheerful is beyond comprehension."

OKLAHOMA CITY - "The Glee Club's trip was certainly a great success. It has done more to stimulate and sell Dartmouth in this part of the country than any other event. The group of boys were tops - their behavior was exemplary, and the audience at the concert loved them. They certainly made a big hit in the home in which they stayed."
