The Romance of Time by Brooks Palmer '23, a brief historical study of time and of the American clock and watch industry in particular, has been published as a booklet of 54 pages by the Clock Manufacturers Association of America. The work covers the subject from "the earliest concepts of time and ... the first crude methods of measurement" through to the "startling and scarcely known facts about the importance of the war industry."
