St. Petersburg

Alumni and friends of Dartmouth College met at the Soreno Hotel, March 9, to hold their annual luncheon meeting and to conduct the election of officers for the coming year.

Guest speaker was Sidney Hayward '26, Secretary of the College, who highlighted his speech about the College with a group of slides depicting the various phases of current college activities. Special mention was made of the approaching 200-year anniversary of the founding of Dartmouth College and the long-term planning that is under way for the College as the third century of her existence is contemplated.

Newly elected officers are: Edward C.Holmes '30, president; Morgan Savage '33, vice president; Robert D. Atwood '42, secretary; John I). O'Connell '36, treasurer.
