UPON recommendation of the Committee on Graduate Fellowships, President Dickey has awarded James B. Reynolds Scholarships for foreign study to two recent graduates of the College and three members of the senior class.
Grants were made to Marshall T. Meyer '53, Norwich, Conn., for rabbinical studies at the University of Jerusalem; Frederick A. Stahl '52, Danbury, Conn., for architectural research in environmental control at the Building Research Station at Watford, Herts., England; Martin B. Friedman '55, Hewlett, N. Y., to study French language and literature at the University of Aix-en-Provence, France; John H. Hodgson '55, Larchmont, N. Y., to study Russian language and history at the University of Helsinki, Finland; and Joseph D. Mathewson '55, Ithaca, N. Y., to study international relations in Western Europe at the University of Bologna, Italy, in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
