Hallgarten was renovated during the summer and is now being used as temporary quarters by the Union Club. The building was repainted and entirely done over. There are now two large reading rooms and a billiard room on the ground floor, as well as a living room on the second floor. There are rooming accommodations for thirteen students.
The Union Club is an organization composed of non-fraternity men and was organized in the spring of 1926. It affords undergraduates who are not selected for membership in one of Dartmouth's twenty-six fraternities an opportunity for social life through its club rooms, rooming facilities and smokers throughout the year.
