AMONG a 2 alumni dinner and luncheon meetings scheduled for March and early April are tours by Prof. Joseph L. McDonald, Dean of the College; Head Football Coach Robert L. Blackman; Allen R. Foley '20, Professor of History; and Robert L. Allen '45, Assistant Secretary of the College.
Dean McDonald will visit the Southeastern states, speaking at Chattanooga on March 27; Atlanta, March 28; Orlando-Winter Park, April 2; St. Petersburg (luncheon), April 4; Miami, April 10; Fort Lauderdale (luncheon), April 11; and Jacksonville, April 12.
Coach Blackman's trip will take him to Pittsburgh on March 14, Cleveland on March 16, Toledo on March 18, and Detroit on March 20.
Professor Foley's four speaking engagements are with the Central New Jersey club on April 2, Wilmington on April 3, Baltimore on April 4, and Harrisburg on April 6.
Mr. Allen has three New York state alumni meetings scheduled for early April: Buffalo on April 4, Rochester on April 5, and Syracuse on April 6.
A Hanover Holiday in Wellesley, Mass., will be staged on March 16, with Chauncey L. Allen '24, Professor of Psychology, and James L. Sykes, Professor of Music, as the faculty speakers. Another faculty member visiting the alumni this month is Dimitri von Mohrenschildt, Professor of Russian Civilization, who will speak in Worcester, Mass., on March 21.
Two other guest speakers from the College are Thomas E. O'Connell '50, executive assistant to President Dickey, who will visit Lawrence, Mass., on March 5, and Director of Athletics Robert A. Rolfe '31, who will be in Springfield, Mass., on April 3.
Dean Arthur R. Upgren of Tuck School addressed three Dartmouth alumni clubs last month, visiting Cincinnati, Dayton and St. Louis from February 22 to 24.
