ELECTIONS to the Dartmouth Alumni Council for two-year terms, 1956-58, were announced last month by Sidney C. Hayward '26, secretary. Nominations closed March 10 for Council vacancies occurring on June 30 of this year. As a result of nominations by alumni clubs, positions are being filled in the seven districts of the country as follows:

DISTRICT I (New England States): Robert M. Edgar '28 of Boston, reelected for a second term of two years.

DISTRICT II (Middle Atlantic States): Harry H. Enders '29 of New York City, elected for a first term of two years, sueceecliirA the late Davis '59; and Ldwin C. Chinlund '29 of Pittsburgh, reelected for a second term of two years.

DISTRICT III (Central States): Warren L. Fellingham '26 of Chicago, elected for a first term of two years, succeeding Roger C. Wilde '21 of Chicago; and Lee A. Chilcote '30 of Cleveland, reelected for a second term of two years.

DISTRICT IV (Middlewestern States): Alfred W. Gordon Jr. '41 of Omaha, re-elected for a second term of two years.

DISTRICT V (Southern States): William C. Embry '34 of Louisville, elected for a first term of two years to succeed F. Jordon McCarthy '26 of Baltimore.

DISTRICT VI (Southwestern States): Franklin J. Cornwell '35 of St. Louis, elected for a first term of two years to succeed Howard J. Mullin '27, now of New York City.

DISTRICT VII (Western States): Guy P. Wallick '21 of San Francisco, and George C. Nickum '31 of Seattle, both reelected for second terms of two years.
