Last year nearly 200 Mt. Holyoke girls came to Dartmouth for a week in January, between semesters, as an experiment in coeducation. This year the Dartmouth Committee on Coeducation is repeating the program for six days, January 22 to 27, and the advance wor,d is that Coeducation Week 1969 will be bigger and better than ever.
An innovation this year, according to the student planning committee, will be the use of dormitories to house many of the coeds; but how this is going to be managed has been left rather vague. The average dorm resident fights tooth and nail to keep from giving up his room for two days at Carnival time, and six days will put the chivalric code to an even greater test.
