Brig. General William W. Stickney '26, formerly Deputy Director, is now Director of the Marine Corps Reserve. Among his many responsibilities is visiting some 262 Reserve Units in the United States. He is Marine Corps member of the Reserve Forces Policy Board and the Committee on Legisla- tion, both in the Office of the Secretary of Defense; and also is on the Joint Committee on Civilian Specialists in the Reserve Forces; the Board to Review the Findings and Decisions of Certain Naval Retiring Boards; the Physical Disability Appeal Board; and the Headquarters Marine Corps Security and Screening Board. He was called back to active duty in July 1952.
