Buffalo

On Wednesday evening, April 4, the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Western New York met at the Buffalo Tennis and Squash Club for cocktails and dinner.

This was to be the time and place for the premiere of This is Dartmouth. As it turned out, the speaker, Bob Allen, got to Buffalo by the skin of his teeth - and the film was in or around Philadelphia. Mr. Allen was met at the Niagara Falls Airport and rushed to the Club - arriving just as the fifty or so Alumni were sitting down to eat.

The evening, however, was very successful. The drinks and food were excellent, the speaker extremely entertaining and the slides that he brought were enjoyable. While everyone was hoping to see the film, this matter was soon forgotten, due to the tempo of the activities. A good time was had by all.
