Any doubts the Cleveland contingent may have had concerning the hands guiding the football destinies were forthrightly dispelled with the appearance of Coach Bob Blackmail as the main speaker at our annual banquet, March 16. His warm personality and lucid observations won him a host of new friends on this first visit to the Cleveland Club. Unfortunately the weatherman went too far in his desire to make Mr. Blackman feel at home, and instead of merely providing a typical Hanover snowstorm he came up with a traffic - snarling storm that kept all but the most hardy at home. However the 65 sturdy souls who were on deck were rewarded with a fine evening of good food, good fellowship, good movies of last year's football high lights and good assurance that Dartmouth has only begun to fight in the gridiron wars!

The following day Coach Blackman met a dozen or more prospective students, who, if admitted, might be expected to learn the split-T system under his aegis. There is no doubt that he made the Ivy League look very desirable to them. Surely we will all appreciate the Big Green more now and follow the team "right down the field" in all their future games after this informative chalk-talk in the grand style.
