On April 17 the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Long Island played host to Dartmouth Football Coach Bob Blackman at Felice's Restaurant in Westbury. Over sixty alumni gathered to enjoy an excellent dinner,, and later to settle back to share news of football at Dartmouth with Coach Blackman.
After being introduced by D.A.A.L.I. president, Ted Girault '27, Blackman reviewed the 1955-56 season and then looked forward to prospects for 1956 and '57. The alumni gathered were particularly interested in his remarks about the ever-expanding enrollment program. After his most interesting talk, Coach Blackman showed film highlights of the 1955-56 football season. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening for all those who attended.
Plans for the annual spring beach party of the D.A.A.L.I. have unfortunately been cancelled for this year. The association will wind up this year's activities with its annual meeting on June 21.
