Newly elected Dartmouth Society of Engineers President Dutch Schroedel '26 and Executive Committee Member-at-Large BobEgelhoff '39 paid the School a visit December 13. Their mission was to explore ways in which the Society might serve the School during Dutch's term of office with projection into future years and they spent the day conferring with the dean, meeting members of the faculty, and lunching with representatives of the College administration.
The Board of Overseers of the Thayer School held a business meeting in New York City on December 21. Members present were President Dickey, Herbert F. Darling '26, Richard E. This distinguished competitor of the Thayer School news column has suffered the fate of all upstart journals and has been defunct for many years now. Its reappearance would so startle your correspondent that, although he would not eat it in modern columnist fashion, he would certainly give it a plug in this column.
