The Dartmouth Club of Cleveland is off on another year of activities under the direction of the officers elected last spring. President, Warren J. Crumbine '37 - First Vice President, Sandy Mills '38 - Second Vice President, Marty King '38 Treasurer, John Klein '52 and Secretary Raymond M. Barker Jr. '52. As we have done in years past the club will have a weekly meeting every Friday at The Mid-Day Club of the Union Commerce Building in downtown Cleveland.

The first function of the club will be our Annual Tea Dance held at The Hunt Club in Gates Mills on September 26. Bill Ziegler '50 and his hard working committee have made all the plans and of this writing the invitations are in the mail. From the response so far, this looks as though it will be our largest and we hope most successful dance to date.

On September 1, we held a luncheon for those members of the freshman class who will be going to Hanover this fall. WallyMeckes '42, our enrollment chairman, made the arrangements for the lunch and did an excellent job of bringing this Cleveland group of freshmen together so that they might get acquainted and discuss those questions which are foremost in the mind of anyone just starting his four years in Hanover. We have found this type of luncheon just prior to the beginning of school, to be highly worthwhile and of much benefit to the boys concerned.

Nick Stowe '62 spoke to the group and gave an outstanding presentation of what they might expect. These boys now know what to do when they hear the cheerie phrase "Hey '63, Got a minute." Proof of the success of this meeting was clearly shown by the number of questions that Nick was able to answer that might have gone un-answered had we not been able to bring together these members of the Class of '63 and an undergraduate who has just gone through the "Mill."
